Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority in Collaboration with SisTec Sierra Leone Celebrate 50th Anniversary of World EarthDay, 2020

This is a project supported by the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority in training 100 students in ICT skills, tree planting in 10 schools and the renovation of SisTec Sierra Leone school building campaign carried out during the month of August, 2020 by the Sierra Schools of Technology (SisTec) in partnership with ten schools in Freetown and in Moyamba District.

 

 

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security in collaboration with Sierra School of Technologies launched the first Environmental Online Tree Planting Campaign in Schools in Sierra Leone on 10th of June, 2016. Attended by over eighty schools in Freetown, the ENO Tree Planting Campaign according to the National Coordinator, Mr. Elongima Bundu, aims at Empowering schools and communities towards environmental themes through activities; Add global awareness and internationality; Educate for active citizenship; Get schools from developing countries as active participants and Make a change together.
